I think he means the Moa (and only the original Moa for the time being) which fold her wings closer to the hull when she goes to warp. If you know Star Trek Voyager tv show, the Entrepid Class USS Voyager does it too when she is about to warp. It is soo cool to watch it just for the sole reason to watch it again and again.
Not just the Moa, the Orthus also folds up its front wings when in warp (the wings pointing down past the nose from the main hull). |

Cool, haven't grabbed one of those on SiSi yet, good to hear that that one is animated as well. I wonder if the BS also has moving parts. ^_^

I find the folding radiator things on the Talos (engine pods) and Typhoon (next to the drone bay) quite a nice touch, took me a while to see that the entire center turret assembly on the Talos moves forward when in Warp.
Also, the heat haze on the radiator rings on the back of the Oracle is quite a nice touch. |

In the concept its light brown and you can actually see details inside the mouth. In-game its reduced to pretty much just a black blob, and no matter how you position the ship you can't get enough light to see inside the mouth. It also seems strange to me that the little fingers on the side open up when in warp. It seems more natural for things to close and tuck away while in warp. Talos is the same way, it opens up like a Marauder when going into warp for some reason.
The Mordus Battlepancake is pretty much always going to be invisible to its pilot in-game, since its pretty much just a flat plane. Its not often that you'll be positioned perfectly to have said plane catch the light source. Ships with more dimension to them have a better chance at having at least some part of the ship catch EVE's wonky light source.
WTB permanent SoE skins for all ships in EVE so I can actually see them.
As far as I can tell, the stuff folding open in warp on the 'phoon and Talos are either field-generators or heat-sinks for the warp systems. :) They even animate on the 'phoon.
What I like on the Talos is that the center mounted guns move forward and lock in warp. |
